Dance Amber

Who: Amber Savage
Where: Mercury Hotel (Heat)
When: Saturday November 9, 2002

HER resume boasts work at some of Sydney's biggest dance events, including LOST IN BASS, FEMME FATALE and TRANSMISSION. She has packed the dancefloors with weekly residencies at PROGRESS @ GAS, FRYD'S THURSDAY DELIGHT at ICEBOX and DAYDREAMS. Yet she began work behind the decks only 18 months ago and has just celebrated her 21st birthday.

To label Sydney's AMBER SAVAGE as the next BEXTA is no understatement.

Savage has established herself as one of the Australian dance industry's rising stars, serving up a mean mix of progressive, hard house and trance.

She released the album XXX with fellow female DJ VIXEN and has returned in 2002 with a triple treat of tracks on PEAKTIME VOL 3. The album was released in September and features the handy work of Savage and the UK's STIMULANT DJS. Comprising hard house legends PAUL 'BRISK' SMITH and DEAN 'HAM' HAMILTON, the pair hooked up in 1999 to form STIMULANT RECORDS and Stimulant DJs.

PeakTime Vol 3 is a triple album of 51 progressive, hard house and trance anthems from the likes of AZZIDO DA BASS, GREEN VELVET and KAI TRACID. Savage will launch the album at the MERCURY HOTEL on Saturday night.

Entry is $10 on the door or free before 10pm.
