FOR some, Christmas comes too soon every year.
But for others, they can't get enough of the festive party season and enjoy the celebrations twice a year.
South Newcastle Rugby League Club will celebrate Christmas in July with a huge bash of festive feasts and entertainment by local performers.
Marty Wooster and Carter Edwards will headline the event in the club's Winsor Terrace Room on July 6 from 7.30pm.
Edwards has been entertaining crowds for much of his life, appearing on the live circuit and a number of television programs and commercials.
The musician and comedian regularly performs throughout NSW and Queensland and has also presented his own weekly radio show on Newcastle's Radio 2HD for more than 16 years.
Wooster is regarded as one of Newcastle's finest entertainers and returned from a five-year hiatus away from the live scene two years ago.
His show presents a variety of hits from the 60s through to today's favourites and his repertoire boasts some 3000 songs.
The feast will be a traditional two-course Christmas dinner including roast meat, baked vegetables, plum pudding with brandy custard and refreshments.
