WITH a career crossing over five generations, Frankie Davidson is one of Australia's longest lasting entertainers.
Since his beginnings on Bandstand and Six 0'Clock Rock, Davidson has impressed many audiences across Australia and overseas.
Next Wednesday morning, Davidson will perform at Belmont 16ft Sailing Club from 11am in the Lakeview Lounge during a free show.
With experience in all fields of the entertainment industry, Davidson has tried his hand at television, advertising and music.
He has twice been nominated as the Mo' Awards Entertainer of the Year, a privilege that is given to only the cream of Australian talent.
In 1976 he was named Australia's Most Versatile Performer and in 1992 and 1993 he received a nomination as Best Male Cabaret Vocalist.
Apart from receiving recognition from those in the industry, Davidson received the prestigious Advance Australia Fair Award in 1987 for his work in the entertainment industry.
Proving his staying power and growing popularity, Davidson released his latest recording The Spirit of Australia in 2000.
Also performing alongside him will be British ventriloquist Jack Beckitt.
