Red Rivers Will run Pub to Host Blues Festival

WICKHAM Park Hotel will host its first blues and roots music festival with a huge line-up of acts next month.

Swampfest 2002 will feature musicians from across Australia as well as local acts.

Held at the Islington hotel's famous beer garden, the festival start at 11am on February 17.

The line-up for the show includes legendary Australian artist Red Rivers and The Riff Kings as well as Stompbucket, The Excellerators and The Torpedos. Former members of The Goat Band will re-form for the festival and former Backslider Rex 'Honeyboy' Hill will also be a special guest.

Tickets to the festival are on sale now at $10 plus a booking fee. They are available from the hotel and Beaumont Street Beat
