THE search is on to find Miss Calendar Girl for 2002.
The search began two weeks ago at Mayfield Ex-Services Club and organisers have issued the call for more girls to strut their stuff for a chance to be named Miss Calendar Girl.
Publishers of Official Australian Swimsuit Calendar are looking for 12 of Australia's prettiest women to fill the pages of their next calendar. More than 1500 hopefuls will enter for the chance to win one of the 12 spots in contests held all across the country.
Each venue selects its national finalist to represent them in the calendar.
Finalists will win a 10-day holiday to Queensland, where they will take part in a photographic shoot.
The public is invited to vote for its favourite model and the winner with the most votes will jet off to the Calendar Girl International World Finals to represent Australia.
Heats and finals will be held at Mayfield Ex-Services Club until April 11 when the major final is held.
