Ska Aims to Put Mark on Newcastle Scene

What: All Ages Ska Event
Where: Newcastle Town Hall
When: Saturday September 15, 2001

AN impressive line-up of Ska bands from Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne are on the bill for Saturday's Pay TV Show gig at Newcastle Town Hall. Second Best, Unpaid Debt, Volition, Rubix Cuba and Draw The Line will take to the stage for the second instalment of the gig which is organised by Nathan Ranclaud. Following the demand from last month's show at The Cambridge Hotel, Nathan said he had decided to make the gig an all-ages event.

'The Pay TV Show will be all-ages gigs from now on because of the demand we've had from younger people,' he said.

Nathan said the gig at the Cambridge attracted 100 Ska fans and he expected about 300 to attend the next show.

The show will run from 7pm to 11pm and Nathan believes the time makes it perfect for all ages.

As well as a top line-up, there will be plenty of prizes to give away.

Entry to the gig is $10 and you can call Nathan on 4967-5760 for more information.
