FORMED by bassist Michael Galeazzi of Karma County as a vehicle for his own compositions, The Java Quartet have grown to become one of Sydney's supreme jazz ensembles.
The group will play at The Dungeon, which is beneath Adamstown Uniting Church, on April 3.
The Java Quartet have gone on to release two albums, Glow in 1997 and Passages in 1998 along with an E.P Slumber for Nordic Wonder in 1994.
With line-up alterations indicative of a jazz band, next week's line-up will include Galeazzi, Mike Quigley on drums, pianist Greg Coffin and Richard Maegraith on the saxophone.
The show starts at 7.30pm. Limited tickets are available from Rod Barnes on 4961-5955.
