Electric, Acoustic Contrasts a Gas

Plenty of experience has gone into forming Newcastle group, Gas. The Blackbutt Hotel will experience Gas at its finest when members David Carter, Paul Elliot and Craig Lancaster perform on Saturday night.

Individually, the group has performed around Newcastle and the Hunter Region and completed a number of recordings and tours with local and national artists.

Members of the group pride themselves on their melody, strong vocal harmonies and percussive beats which allow them to contrast their electric sets with acoustic covers.

The band performs a range of songs from artists including Tonic, Reef, Dandy Warhols, REM, Steppin' Wolf, The Beatles and The Who.
