In a recent interview, Brown was asked what he loved about DJing to which he repied: 'I'm like a junkie, and records are my drug.'
Brown will get the crowd at the Mercury Hotel addicted to his beats and rhythms when he whips up a mix of hip-hop and r&b in the Heat Discotheque on Friday night.
Brown started out DJing at house parties in 1993 where he developed his distinctive style and quickly progressed to Sydney clubs.
'I love music and I love being able to control and mesmerise the dance floor,' Brown said.
'I love the art of scratching and trick mixing but do not classify myself as a turntablist - I am an all round DJ.'
Nino Brown is no stranger to the hip-hop scene after supporting hip-hop luminaries such as Naughty By Nature, Snoop Dogg and Puff Daddy.
