THE harmonious sounds of The Robertson Brothers have kept the band busy this year with performances in Sydney and the Hunter and appearances on Home and Away. After recently returning from a trip to Nashville, the three brothers were announced as finalists for Best Vocal Group at the 2001 Mo Awards.
Brothers Geoffrey, Stuart and Ben have caused quite a stir since their first single I Know Why was released in 1993.
In 1994 they released their second single Winter In America, followed by their debut album Symmetry. The brothers had a taste of stardom when their 1999 track The Last Love Song entered the pop charts and received airplay on several radio stations.
In 2000 they recorded a re-vamped version of the Home and Away theme and the brothers were heard both nationally and internationally.
Success has seen the boys perform around Sydney, Newcastle, Shellharbour, Gosford, Gold Coast, Tamworth and Port Macquarie.
A big break came for the boys when they performed John Lennon's Imagine at the opening ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games.
The brothers are now awaiting the release of their next single and their new album which are due out soon.
The Robertson Brothers will perform at Club Nova Cardiff on Friday night.
