WHEN it comes to categorising their music, it is impossible to slot Spot The Dog into one musical genre.

Mark Cryle is the principal songwriter for the group and was a finalist in the Australian Songwriters Association National Awards.
He was also nominated for Songwriter of the Year at the Queensland Recording Association Sunnie Awards.
Helen McGreevy fronts the band with the fiddle, mandolin, piano, guitar and tight rhythms from the bass and drums.
Harrigan's at Pokolbin will host the band on Saturday and the group will perform at The Great Northern Hotel on Sunday.
