Misbehave Ready With Rip-roaring Stage Show

Who: Misbehave
Where: Lemon Tree Passage Bowling Club
When: Saturday April 28, 2001

AS their Dance In Your Pants tour continues to fire, Misbehave will play at the Lemon Tree Passage Bowling Club on Saturday.

Drummer Mark Robinson said the band had met rousing responses from crowds all over the Newcastle and Hunter area.

'So far we have seen Elvis impersonators, had a marriage proposal live on stage, guest karaoke and generally a lot of people misbehaving and having a good time,' he said.

'We even got asked to play a rap song the other night, so we played an original I wrote called, Drummer's Rap.' In May, the Drummer's Rap might even get a guernsey along with a few other tracks the band will be recording in May for a Dance In Your Pants CD.

Misbehave features members from successful Newcastle bands such as Big Bam Boom, Radio Ga Ga and more recently The Swell. The band is made up of vocalist and obvious crowd favourite Sarah Quigley, drummer Robinson, Michael Punch on rhythm guitar and vocals, Brett Carson on bass, and the nimble-fingered David Eire on lead guitar.

Their collection of covers includes hit songs from Savage Garden, Kate Ceberano, Kylie Minogue, Anastasia, Killing Heidi, Bryan Adams and The Cranberries back to Pseudo Echo, The Choirboys and The Romantics. In the next couple of months you can catch Misbehave doing their wild and fun thing at the following venues: Wickham Park Hotel (May 4, June 1), Caves Beach Hotel (May 11, June 23), Delany Hotel (May 12), Wangi Hotel (May 19), Swansea Hotel (May 8), Marquis O'Lorne Hotel (June 15), Beach Hotel (May 17) and the Caves Beach Hotel (June 30).
