Cadillac Tramps Drive Up-Tempo Music Style

Who: The Cadillac Tramps
Where: Grand Junction Hotel
When: Saturday November 4, 2000

YOU won't find no lonesome, my-baby-left-me or my-dog-just-died, howling blues from THE CADILLAC TRAMPS. According to the group's harmonica player BOB FULLER 'It's more of a rockier style of blues.'

'We like to call ourselves blues with balls,' Fuller said.

Playing on Saturday, November 4, at the Grand Junction Hotel and Saturday, November 11, at the Lass O'Gowrie Hotel, The Cadillac Tramps play '95% blues - but you won't hear any of the usual STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN or GEORGE THOROGOOD'. 'I pick a lot of the stuff from my own record collection, and a lot of that is imports from overseas,' Fuller said.

'We do a few old standards such as WALKING THE DOG and HOOCHIE COOCHIE MAN and some MUDDY WATERS. 'But it's mostly obscure stuff. It's the sort of stuff that I like going seeing.'

Stuff by artists such as JOHNNY WINTER, GUY FORSYTHE and CHRIS DUART. The Cadillac Tramps are ANDREW POTTER on guitar, DEAN REYNOLDS on vocals, JOHN REAGAN on drums and WAYNE WHEELER on bass guitar. Members of The Cadillac Tramps are drawn from many of the Hunter's best-known blues bands.

Fuller is formerly of THE STUFF, Potter comes from THE CRAWLING KINGSNAKES and THE MUTINEERS, Reynolds from DAVE, Reagan from THUNDER ALLEY and Wheeler from LONE SHARKS.
