Group Draws on Mixed Background for New CD

Who: Funky Do-Da's
Where: The Dungeon
When: Friday March 24, 2000

FOR jazz and music fans looking for something soft to listen to over a nice bottle of wine, THE FUNKY DO DA'S latest CD is just the thing.

The second album DUTU will be launched at The Dungeon behind Adamstown Uniting Church on March 24.

DUTU draws on the pop, rock, jazz, Latin and funk background of the individual members.

And the five original tracks are a reflection of what each member brings to the music.

It's also the result of endless hours spent jamming, with songwriting credits going to Peter Gray and Paul Isaacs.

THE FUNKY DO DA'S have been together since 1992 and are regarded as one of the hardest working outfits going around.

The guys regularly perform at festivals and concerts in places like the Basement and the Dungeon.

The CD launch kicks off at 7.30pm, entry is $5 and the cost of the CD is $10.
