We're talking about SHAFT, the latest band featuring lead singer DANNY YOUNG, the son of legendary Oz rocker JOHN PAUL YOUNG. During a sojourn to Coffs Harbour the younger Young made a visit to one-time JPY drummer JOHN DICK who has accepted an offer to sit in with Shaft this week, while regular Shaft stickman ADAM MANNING attends to duties with his other outfit QWAKE. We're informed that Dick has drummed for ERIC CLAPTON, THE BEE GEES, TINA TURNER, NATALIE COLE, DARYL BRAITHWAITE, BILLY THORPE & THE AZTECS and STEVIE WRIGHT. TE
