ENGLISH showbiz veteran BOBBY DENNIS literally fell into comedy after he 'landed on his head from a parachute jump' during his four-year stint in the British Army.
Performing this week for HEY HEY IT'S FRIDAY at the Cardiff Workers Club, the funny man sees the comical side of his adventure-packed life, which he relates to captivated listeners.
Dennis paid his dues in revues and pantomimes before a stint in London's West End led to television appearances in the 1960s.
He first appeared on Australian television with fellow comedian DAVE ALLEN. Melbourne.
By the end of the 1970s Dennis had appeared in the BBC TELEVISION productions IT AIN'T HALF HOT MUM and HI DE HI. Over the past 20 years Dennis has lived out his live comedy adventure on the stages of Australian clubs and the world's cruise liners.
Joining Dennis on stage this Friday will be sensational cabaret duo DOUBLE EXPOSURE. TE
