Brolga Party Marks Wetlands Milestone

COUNTRY music performer BROOKE LEAL will serenade visitors to THE WETLANDS CENTRE this Sunday, for THE BROLGA PARTY. The 'party' begins at 10am and continues until 4pm. Admission for families is $10, $5 a ticket, $4 concession and $2 a child.

Visitors to the centre's tranquil surroundings will be celebrating WORLD WETLANDS WEEK and 15 years of wetlands conservation, education, recreation and research.

As well as 'classic and contemporary country music' from Leal between noon and 2pm, visitors will be able to enjoy 'canoe-based discovery tours, guided walks, fishing competitions, face painting and hay rides'.

Leal with be joined by country singer guitarist NICOLE BROPHY and fiddle player JODI MOORE. The trio will perform again on Sunday afternoon at Club Phoenix from 6.30pm.
