Local Talent Launch

Original Newcastle band THE GASSOON will kick-start the launch of home-grown talent at The Albion Hotel on Saturday as part of the hotel's plan to host live music three days a week.

The Gassoon was one of the highlights of the Xpozay band competition, performing an unpredictable and entertaining style of original music.

On Friday night DYNAMO HUM will perform hits from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

From 4pm on Sunday afternoon, blues and jazz band CUE STICK will ease into a spectacular afternoon overlooking the harbour lit by a sun setting slowly in the west.
