Blast from the Past lives on
CLASSIC rock'n'roll cover band BLAST FROM THE PAST has set its dial for the year 2000 and rocketed out of the 1950s and 1960s and into the 1990s.
Playing this Friday night at the Junction Inn Hotel, Raymond Terrace, the group has spent five months updating its act with the introduction of a new member, singer and keyboard player CHANTELLE DANIELS. Friday night's show is the first of a planned monthly residency at the Raymond Terrace pub.
With Daniels comes hits by artists such as POWDERFINGER, ALANIS MORISETTE, KILLING HEIDI and NO DOUBT. The group will continue to transport audiences to the past in their set, with songs by THE BEATLES, THE ANGELS, CHUCK BERRY and NEIL DIAMOND. Other members include lead vocalist and guitarist SCOTT HARRIS, lead guitarist WOODY WOODWARD, bass player CHRIS JONES and drummer PETER STEF.
