Ready For Bigger Things

FOUR-piece Oz rockers FRUITION have passed a milestone with the band celebrating its first anniversary last week.

Guitarist Paul Gorton said the group had kept a low profile while it gained experience and developed its live show.

But after a year of gigging in smaller pubs around the 'burbs he said the band was ready to move on.

'We've really come together as a band, we're playing a lot better and we have a lot of fun, and that flows over into the audience,' he said.

Paul said the band continued to write and develop originals but was still performing mostly covers.
