JOHN O'Donoghue's powerful play NO MORE THE FUR ELISE NO MORE THE BULLIED BLOOM has proved itself bigger than BHP.

The poignant play covering the steelworks closure and its impact on one Newcastle family is moving to Civic Theatre for a strictly limited season.

The play was performed at BHP as part of the RIBBONS OF STEEL FESTIVAL but the unprecedented demand has led it moving to the Civic.

NO MORE THE FUR ELISE is the other 'bookend' to O'Donoghue's previous work concerning the steelworks, ESSINGTON LEWIS: I AM WORK .

The Freewheels production is directed by Aarne Neeme and stars Colin Taylor, Lance Hawkins and Claire Williams.

The play will be at the Civic for four performances beginning with a matinee performance Wednesday, October 6, followed by an evening sessions that night and the next two nights.

Tickets are available at the Civic.

TE has a double pass to give away.
