NEWCASTLE disc jockeys DJ INFUSION and DJ DICA have gone to plenty of trouble to make this Saturday night's INTENSITY dance party at The Star Hotel a step above the usual.
Infusion, aka GARRY BYNON (left) plays 'old school' while Dica, aka NICK THOMPSON, plays mainly 'drum'n'bass', which both have imported from the United Kingdom.
The Friday night regulars at The Star have invested in back drops, four laser lighting systems and boosted sound to give clubbers at Saturday night's three-room, all-night rave something to talk about until next time.
'All the parties we've been to so far are pretty boring,' Dica says.
'They don't put much effort in.
'We want to set the scene for Newcastle.'
Music will range from 'hard house' through to 'techno, drum'n'bass, old school and acid house'. The event which will begin at 10pm and is tipped to wind up just after sunrise.TE
