FOUR songs by Newcastle band YIANTE will feature in the soundtrack of the DEIN PERRY feature film BOOTMEN due to hit the cinema screens next year.

Shot on location in and around Newcastle this year, the Perry movie is set against an industrial backdrop, and stars SOPHIE LEE and ADAM GARCIA, in a story about two brothers in love with the same girl.

The rock group, fronted by Hunter vocalist IAN SANDERCOE, also features Sandercoe playing himself in a minor role.

Next week Sandercoe and Yiante will perform at the Newcastle Workers Club in a concert to raise funds for a specialist nurse to treat sufferers of Parkinson's Disease.

The PROJECT PARKINSON'S concert has been organised by ANNE VAN ZEIST, a Newcastle sufferer of Parkinson's pushing for a regional specialist nurse to treat fellow Parkinson's sufferers.

Other entertainment will be provided by the 3D COOL dance group, led by original Tap Dog cast member DARREN DISNEY, dancers from MARIE WALTON MAHON DANCE ACDEMY, the NEWCASTLE ACADEMY OF BALLROOM DANCE and 'Newcastle's dancing ambos'.
