Henry Rollin in for Rare Gig

THE illustrated man of rock and roll HENRY ROLLINS is heading to Newcastle to deliver a rare and memorable spoken word performances.

Although the venue is yet to be announced, Sydney BIG DAY OUT publicist VIV FANTIN says Rollins will definitely be heading to Newcastle in May.

The front man of the ROLLINS BAND and one-time BLACK FLAG hell raiser has a new spoken word CD out on UNIVERSAL RECORDS called THINK TANK. Also headed for Newcastle in May, will be SPIDERBAIT whose next album GRAND SLAM is due out next month.

The band looks set to tour Australia, taking in Newcastle in May at a venue to be advised.
