When: Saturday April 3, 1999

Sue Carson back in town TALENTED multi-instrumentalist SUE CARSON has returned from her four-month sojourn in the United Kingdom, much to the delight of Hunter music lovers.

Carson, who will perform on Saturday night at the Grand Hotel and on Sunday at the Prince of Wales, is performing as a solo acoustic artist with sequenced backing.

The classically trained vocalist will sing much of her popular LOVE THAT HAT repertoire under her own name, playing self-accompanied on guitar, fiddle and mandolin.

After a four-month sojourn in the United Kingdom on an operatic scholarship Carson has decided to return to Australia due to family commitments and to focus on her folk rock career.
