Smokin' Launch of CD

THE SMOKESTACK compilation CD, which spawned the winning entry from MELVIN STARR in the TRIPLE J UNEARTHED competition last year, takes off next week.

The disc will be launched at Nobbys Beach on the Newcastle Harbour Foreshore, on Saturday, March 13, at 4pm.

SUPERSONIC, CABIN FEVER, JETSON, BROOKE HARVEY, ZERO ONE, HUMAN TRIBE, SCOTT FIDDES, MELVIN STARR, LIMEN 1O, FLAT EARTH SOCIETY and CHARLOTTE'S SOIREE, will perform on the day.

SCREAMING JETS members PAUL WOSEEN and CRAIG ROSEVEAR, who both assisted with the project, will also perform.
