METAL, rap, acid, house and thrash music? Bah and humbug, reckon rock'n'roll revivalists REAL GONE CATS , who are to play on Saturday night at Belmont Sportsmans Club.
'The Real Gone Cats epitomise real rock'n'roll,' the band says.
'As well as original compositions in this genre, we perform cover versions of songs by the great artists of our time, songs that are complex in their musical form and rarely heard today.
'Authentic rock'n'roll, with a little country and swing thrown in, to tell the blues so long.'
The Real Gone Cats are DAVID HARRADINE on lead vocals, NOEL TAYLOR on drums, RON BISSETT on bass guitar, GERRY SAMEK on saxophones, SHANE BLAKE on guitars and EDDIE ROCCO on keyboards.
The gig starts at 8pm and shakes, rattles and rolls until midnight, with DJ DAVE spinning authentic recorded music from the 1950s during the breaks. TE
