LOONATICS by name, lunatics by nature, DAVE CARTER and PAUL ELLIOT have forged a career out being themselves - that is two naughty boys who run amok with an audience and a microphone.

Playing this Friday night at the Mary Ellen Hotel and Saturday night at Lake Macquarie Tavern, 'the Loonies' are also gifted musicians and vocalists.

Carter and Elliot have both racked up stints in legendary Newie bands such as LOVE THAT HAT, YIANTE, ARVIDSON PRICE, BLISS, THE FUNBUSTERS, CAFE SOCIETY and CRUSH. The boys play great singalong tunes with a great sense of humour, and have been known to toss the odd cheesy television theme into their set. Why? Why not! TE
