A Rare and Hot Mixed Medium

NEWCASTLE has never seen a production like MEDIUM RARE, the latest offering from 2 to 5 YOUTH THEATRE CO-OP. Combining performance, video, multimedia, photography, original music, performance poetry and karaoke, MEDIUM RARE takes place in and around the Newcastle Community Arts Centre.

Under the direction of AMANDA ROFF, the 18 cast members have worked with the centre's resident visual, photographic, fabric and sound artists as well as performance poets and photographers to create a performance package that ranges across the buildings of the centre.

MEDIUM RARE features original poetry and an original 'soundscape' plus video documentaries, multimedia installations, photographic exhibitions, theatre and live bands.
