Locals Get Big Break

INDIE rock band LE BONK and heavy original rock group KREED will rock the BLACK BOX this Friday night for all ages.

Joining the group on stage will be Sydney all-female band WHEN ROBOTS RULE and Sydney punks HINDSIGHT. Le Bonk, featuring guitarist GEOFF MULLARD (pictured), comprises former members of SANDPAPER, ABSTRACTION, LOOSE and CASE MANAGEMENT. The group will support YOU AM I and TUMBLEWEED at the University of Newcastsle on August 12.

The gig has been organised by the NEWCASTLE INDEPENDENT MUSIC ALLIANCE, part of LOCAL ANAESTHETIC which also runs ARC UP STUDIOS and REAL TIME PUBLISHING.
