ROCK covers band FRUITION hopes that its name will be prophetic.
Guitarist PAUL GORTON said the group, playing this Saturday night at the Marquis O'Lorne Hotel in Lambton, had been rehearsing since March but had only played a couple of gigs.
Fruition has high hopes for the future.
'We play covers and a few originals, but then we hope to play more of our originals eventually,' Gorton said.
'As the band name says hopefully something good will come of it.'
Members of Fruition, guitarist DAVE CREIGH, bass player SIMON SMITH and drummer IVAN BALL, perform covers by THE BEATLES, COLD CHISEL, ROLLING STONES and AC/DC.
