BRITISH breakbeat chart-toppers Freestylers are returning to our shores this month following their trip earlier this year for Big Day Out. Still riding on the strength of their track Push Up, which was in the top 10 of the ARIA singles chart for several weeks, Freestylers will play 10 shows across the country.

Novocastrians will be the first to get a taste of the duo's much-loved beats when they headline popular dance party Nutshell Breaks at the Cambridge Hotel on Friday, September 23.

Despite being one of the biggest names on the scene, the gig will be Freestylers' first appearance at the event which has attracted many of breakbeat's heavyweights over the past four years.

Freestylers are also set to play three Parklife music festivals in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

Joining them on tour will be special guest MC Sirreal alongside The Jackal, Auxilary, Kato, Patsan, D*Steady and Breakwell. Advance tickets cost $30 plus a booking fee and are available at Ramjet, PDMS, Abicus, Cambridge Hotel and threesixtysounds.
