Festival Throwdown

Who: Throwdown, Taking Sides, From the Ruins and The Dead Walk
Where: The Cambridge Hotel
When: Friday May 27, 2005

THROWDOWN has flown in directly this week from its home base in Orange Country to embark on its second tour of Australia.

Having toured with the likes of Hatebreed and Lamb of God and delivered huge sets at major festivals like Ozzfest, Throwdown is fast becoming one of the biggest names to emerge from the US hardcore scene.

The band recently finished recording its album Vendetta which follow its breakthrough debut album of 2003 titled Haymaker. With the new album due for release in July, fans can no doubt expect Throwdown to perform a batch of its tracks when the band performs in Newcastle at the Cambridge Hotel on Friday night.

Supporting them will be Sydney's Taking Sides, Perth band From the Ruins and Newcastle's own The Dead Walk. Doors open at 8.30pm and tickets will be available on the night.
