THERE is no shortage of Elvis Presley impersonators in the world but only a select few have managed to carve out a successful career doing so.

A recent US documentary estimated there were at least 35,000 Presley impersonators in the world.

US performer David Cazalet is one man who has managed to stand out in the crowd and enjoy success.

Born in New York, Cazalet began performing as Presley at a very young age by amusing his family and friends with rendition of The King's songs.

Amusement soon turned to amazement as Cazalet's voice and appearance developed to uncannily resemble that of Presley.

Today Cazal aac t has established not only an incredible tribute to Presley but developed as an entertainer of astounding ability and charisma.

His voice has all the range and warmth which is reminiscent of Presley's.

Cazalet's talent and the continuing popularity of Presley has allowed him to travel all over the globe playing major resorts, casinos and hotels.

He is currently performing his show The King in Concert in Australia which is a celebration of Presley's music with a cast of 15 musicians, dancers and singers.

It will appear at Belmont 16ft Sailing Club on Saturday, June 18. Tickets cost $22 per person and are ons ale now at the club.
