FUNK infused rockers The Cops have turned it up a gear and are turning the van around and heading back along the coast for another tour.

The Cops profile is building after playing the summer festivals from Rock-it to Homebake to The Falls and Big Day Out, as well as supporting The Donnas and Blondie. Subsequently The Cops have now been nominated for the Best Newcomer and Best Bass Player award at the 2005 Jack Awards, placing them against the likes of You Am I, the Living End and Dallas Crane. The Cops are also back on the airwaves with the new fourth single, Wallet Puffer Smokes Keys taken from the the debut album Stomp On Trip Wires. Catch The Cops supporting The Black Keys at the Cambridge Hotel on Wednesday, March 16 and return to headline at the Bar on the Hill on Thursday, March 24.
