Terror Happy To Return

Who: Terror
Where: The Cambridge Hotel
When: Sunday January 23, 2005

THE last tour of Australia was so good that LA hardcore outfit TERROR could not wait to come back. The band is working its way around the country and will land in Newcastle on Sunday jan 23 to play at the CAMBRIDGE HOTEL.

The boys from Terror said they had the time of their lives in Australia last year. ``It was cool, we came from Europe where it was snowing every day and really depressing and then came over there [to Australia] in summer time,'' guitarist DOUG WEBER said.

Weber and fellow band members CARL SCHWARTZ (bass), SCOTT VOGEL (vocals), NICK JETT (drums) and FRANK NOVINEC (guitar) were also pleased to find that Australian fans turned out in good numbers. ``We didn't know what to expect, we didn't know anyone in Australia . we expected crowds to be really small,'' Weber said.

Judging by the response so far to the material on the band's newest album, One With The Underdogs , fans can expect good things at Terror gigs. ``The record is doing really well as far as sales go,'' Weber said. ``The reaction is really good. It's kind of crazy to see. When we were first playing [the new tracks] people didn't really know them. Now people know them more than the old ones.''

After touring Australia and New Zealand, Terror will head to South America and Europe before returning to the US in April.
