CANADIAN rocker BRYAN ADAMS is the latest artist to line up for the national A DAY ON THE GREEN concert series.

Adams will headline the biggest A Day on the Green festival, to be held at BIMBADGEN ESTATE on Saturday, March 5.

On the road to support the release of his new album, Room Service , which is to be released on September 20, Adams will be supported by Australian singing sensation VANESSA AMOROSI. It will be the second A Day On The Green to be held in the Hunter this summer following the November 20 concert featuring ELVIS COSTELLO. Multi-Grammy award winner Adams has racked up 12 platinum hits, more than 55 thmillion albums sales and multiple number ones in more than 30 countries with songs like Summer of '69, Can't Stop This Thing We Started, Everything I Do (I Do It For You), Run To You and Please Forgive Me. It will also mark the return of Amorosi, who at 23 has already performed to audiences of millions during the opening and closing ceremonies of the Sydney Olympic Games and the Commonwealth Games.

Amorosi recently started work on her new album to be released next year.

She will be joined by her eight-piece band at A Day On the Green to perform hits such as Shine, Absolutely Everybody and Look At Me. Opening A Day On the Green will be CASEY BARNES. The Tasmanian-born singer/songwriter's debut indie album Say What You Feel has attracted rave reviews.
