Spiderbait In Web Of Glory

Who: Spiderbait, The Camels
Where: Toronto District Workers Club
When: Saturday December 18, 2004

IT certainly has been a big year for SPIDERBAIT. Since the release of the band's stellar comeback album Tonight Alright in March, Spiderbait has been continually touring with a string of hits.

Tonight Alright's first single Black Betty screamed into the national ARIA chart at number 12 and soon climbed to the top position where it remained for several weeks.

It became the first Australian rock single to reach the top of the charts since 2000.

Spiderbait made a welcome return to the live circuit, touring with the HOODOO GURURS and playing its own run of successful headline shows around the country.

Festival performances included Byron Bay's SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS and Perth's ROCK IT where Spiderbait re- established its position as one of the best live acts in the country.

Australians were not the only ones who welcomed Spiderbait with open arms.

lw1 This year the band was picked up to release its material through INTERSCOPE RECORDS in the US, as well as POLYDOR in the UK and Europe.

Spiderbait's next single, Put It Down , is set for release next month.

To coincide with the release the band will perform at TORONTO WORKERS CLUB on Saturday, December 18, with support from THE CAMELS. Advance tickets cost $22 from the club or will be available at the door for $25 on the night.
