Who: Virus Crawl, Schlauncher, The Pints
Where: New Orana Hotel
When: Saturday March 27, 2004

METAL band VIRUS CRAWL will launch its new EP title Of The Same at the LUCKY COUNTRY HOTEL on Saturday night.

The four-track EP features Lessons in Romance, Of The Same, Ritually Yours and The Fold.

``Track one is an ode to the porn industry called Lessons In Romance, and the title track refers to the future trends and traditions,'' drummer ADAM DIVER said.

``The third song is an instrumental called Ritually Yours that would make satan soil himself, and the final track is about very deep holes titled The Fold .'' Diver said Of The Same boasts some of the most ``schizophrenic rock `n' roll you'll ever hear.'' Virus Crawl is the incarnation of Newcastle-based original bands RAG MONSTER and OBLONG BOX. Virus Crawl comprises Adam Diver on vocals and drums, PAUL DIVER on vocals, guitar and keyboard, TONY DRAYTON on bass and MATT CLACK on guitar.

``Well, we've got a drummer who'd prefer to be playing guitar, a bass player who's so moved by our music he stands still, a guitarist who used to be in other bands,'' Diver said.

``As for me, I need to find a one- armed pianist who gives lessons because I've just nailed a keyboard to my guitar.'' The band is running a crossword puzzle competition to give away copies of the EP via the band's website at www.viruscrawl.com.

Entrants who submit the most correct or even humorous answers will win a free CD.

Virus Crawl will be supported by SCHLAUNCHER and THE PINTS from 9pm and entry is $5.

The band will also play at the ORANA HOTEL on March 27 with Schlauncher and The Pints. The show starts at 8pm and entry is free.
