Who: Fleetwood Mac
Where: Newcastle Entertainment Centre
When: Tuesday March 16, 2004

INFLUENTIAL pop group FLEETWOOD MAC will kick off its first Australian tour in 13 years at NEWCASTLE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE on March 16, 2004.

It will be the band's first performance in Newcastle and the only regional show of the five- date national tour which will also cover Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

The band has returned with a brand new album titled Say You Will which follows on from the success of a massive US arena tour.

STEVIE NICKS, LINDSAY BUCKINGHAM, JOHN MCVIE and MICK FLEETWOOD will reunite to perform songs from their extensive back catalogue of hits as well as tracks from the new album in a spectacular two-hour how.

Since it made its appearance in the mid- 1970s, Fleetwood Mac has produced a string of classic albums such as Fleetwood Mac, Rumours and Tusk .

Its knack for penning a hit record is obvious on chart-toppers such as Don't Stop, Rhiannon, Go Your Own Way and Landslide .

The latest album has already shown similar promise after it debuted at No 3 on the US BILLBOARD charts.

``It's really touching that we can come back after so long and care about making an album that says as much as this one does,'' Buckingham said.

``And after all this time, we really do care about each other.

Our chemistry is what made us a great band to begin with.

That it's potent after 16 years apart is pretty amazing.

'' Tickets to Fleetwood Mac at Newcastle Entertainment Centre available from Ticketek.
