Hailing from Brisbane, the boys moved to Sydney in late 1994 and soon captured the attention of management and record companies.

Since signing with OUCH! RECORDS, Hornet have released five albums and experienced three top ten hit singles in the Australian charts and sold over 10,000 records in the Hunter.

The band's most recognisable tune to date, C'mon Mrs.

Jones , reached No.

86 on the national charts, was the second highest rotated song in Australia, and also featured on the various artists compilation discs SMASH and DRIVETIME .
