FOR the past five years, Loonatic Fringe has been busy keeping the crowds entertained with its endless repertoire of classic hits.

Covering a wide variety of material, the band performs anything from Nirvana to Bob Dylan and Powderfinger. Made up of Dave Carter and Paul Elliot, the duo met during a Hamilton South boy scout reunion jamboree and has been inseparable since.

Between them, Carter and Elliot have toured the Pacific aboard the Fairstar Funship and performed throughout Europe and Australia with Ian Moss. 'We are simply two guys who love singing and playing the guitar,' Carter said.

Catch Loonatic Fringe and its crazy on-stage routine when it performs at the Ace of Clubs tonight.
