WE can't get enough of their infectious swing sound, so it comes as no surprise to learn that the Americans have grown to love them too.
The Louisville Sluggers, affectionately known as 'The Sluggers', recently made it to number one on US swing website SwingTop40.com. The band scored a hit with the track Time For Swingin' when it quickly climbed its way up the chart to make it to the top position.
The Sluggers also made it to number three with the track Well Swung and to number three with Hey Honey, Please. Hey Honey, Please was released on The Sluggers' second EP of the same name in 2000 and is a cover of the classic punk track by American band Firehose. Hey Honey Please, Well Swung and Time For Swingin' will be some of many swinging tunes The Louisville Sluggers will perform when they play at the Northern Star Hotel on Saturday night.
The Slugger will be supported by Operation Lager and the show will kick off at 10pm.
