IT will be entertainment to the maximum at Belmont 16ft Sailing Club next Wednesday morning.

The club will present The Marty Morton Show and special guest Seamus Earley. Marty Morton is an all-round entertainer; successful comedian, vocalist and ventriloquist. His career began in theatre productions in Adelaide where he studied acting.

There he featured in productions of The Lower Depths and The Master Builder. Although a strong actor, Marty found his heart in comedy, variety and children's entertainment.

After a stint working as a compere, vocalist and comedian at a Melbourne Hotel, Marty rose to fame after taking first place on the New Faces television program.

He went on to become a favourite on television programs Hey, Hey, It's Saturday and The Tonight Show. His career in children's entertainment saw his talent of ventriloquism with the creation of puppets Emu, Clyde The Camel, Captain Kookaburra and Eddy the Horse.

Marty has been awarded for his work with three Mo Awards in 1983, 1984 and 1988.

Joining Marty on stage is Seamus Earley.

Seamus is a talented vocalist with a stunning vocal capacity.

Noted for her versatility, Seamus has worked alongside successful acts like Human Nature, Anthony Warlow, Eddie Fisher and The Ink Spots. In 1996 Seamus received a Mo Award nomination for Female Vocalist performer and has recently released her own album titled Earley Days. Next week's show is free and will be held in the Lakeview Lounge from 11am.
