AUSTRALIAN singer songwriter Graeme Connors has worked with the likes of Liza Minnelli, Peter Allen, Bill Cosby and Del Shannon but the last six years of his career have been the most prolific.

Connors has received many different awards which have shot him to stardom on the Australian music scene.

In 1989 he received his first Golden Guitar award for We've Done Us Proud which Connors wrote for Country legend Slim Dusty. Connors has also be named Male Vocalist of the Year twice, awarded APRA Song of the Year three times and Vocal Collaboration of the Year.

These awards have made him the most consecutively awarded artist in the history of the Australian Country Music Awards. All up Connors has earned 10 Golden Guitars, six Tamworth Songwriters Awards, 2 Mo Awards and an ARIA Award.

Throughout his career Connors has been in limbo with the description of his music.

Some call him country, some say contemporary.

UK magazine Country Music People say 'Although looked on as a country artist, Graeme Connors is really an across-genres singer and writer.'

Connors has released 8 albums since 1988 and his ninth album titled A Delicate Balance has seen him push the boundaries of country music.

Graeme Connors will perform at Club Nova Cardiff on October 20 from 8pm and at Maitland City Bowling Club on October 21.

Tickets to the show are available from the club.
