THEY are embarking on the Gorgeous Tour but their reputation is anything but glamorous.

American punk rock group Guttermouth will headline a hardcore gig at Fanny's on Halloween next Wednesday.

The group is returning to Australia for an extensive national tour following the release of their latest album Covered With Ants. Guttermouth have brought their mixture of mayhem and music to an ever-growing audience of punk kids across the globe for more than 10 years.

Collectively, the members of Guttermouth have been arrested, shot at, threatened, burned and banned from Canada.

Lead singer Mark Adkins has been quoted as saying that the divorce of his parents was the best thing that ever happened to him because it allowed them to overlook the parties he held in his back yard.

Luckily for Guttermouth fans, it was during these parties that Mark teamed up with his friend Derek which lead to the eventual formation of Guttermouth.

With help of fellow punkers The Offspring, Guttermouth unleashed their brand of punk on the world and shocked Offspring fans during tours with the group.

Guttermouth will share the bill will fellow noise makers Creeping Jesus and One Dollar Short. Tickets are $27.50 and available from the Rock Shop, Beaumont Beat Street and Rumours.
