MENTAL As Anything has managed to remain one of Australia's greatest rock acts since it stepped on the music scene in 1976.

In April this year the band announced the first change of line-up in its 25-year history.

Peter O'Doherty and Reg Mombassa moved on to pursue art careers and were replaced by David 'Duck' Barraclough and Murray Cook. The new-look Mentals have taken the change in their stride and recently released a new EP titled Borscht. Soon after the group received its fresh face, Barraclough and lead singer Martin Plaza teamed up to pen the single Fine Line. Mental As Anything will introduce its new line-up to the Hunter when it performs at Toronto Workers Club on December 14.

Songs such as The Nips Are Getting Bigger, Live It Up and Mr Natural have seen the group receive the tag 'the world's best garage band'.

Not only has the band achieved success in Australia, but also around the globe with successful tours through the US, Vietnam and Canada.
