Wolverines Rev Up for Phoenix Bash

FOR almost a decade the Wolverines have exposed Australian audiences to a unique blend of humour, rocking country tunes and the art of having a great time.

These good old boys of rock 'n' country will bring their country rock to Club Phoenix on Saturday.

The band says its tracks range from kick-ass Texan boogie through to soft, bluesy ballads.

Their treatment of well-known retro classics and alternatives to a few of our most revered Australian country songs should not go without mention.

The band is made up of Darcy LeYear on lead vocals and lead guitar, Chris Doyle on keyboards and John Clinton on drums and vocals.
