Where: Fanny's

When: Friday March 16, 2001

As part of the huge Surfest line-up Fanny's Night Club will be pumping on Friday night with some of the countries hottest dance acts.

Headlining From Dance Till Dawn will be Groove Terminator, an act which has influenced many fellow DJs throughout Australia.

Also playing are dance metal fusion band the Testeagles, who are expected to go wild.

Sydney outfit, Lash, made up of former Perth Catholic School girls and local hip hop-rap maniacs Head Poppin' Fatness will also perform on the main stage.

It wouldn't be complete without some of Newcastle's top local DJs and there are plenty with artists DJ Patsan, DJ Kato, Auxiliary and the appropriately named DJ 5am. Two rooms will be operating, the main room and Rivots, with a chilled-out lounge area to act as an escape for those who simply want to soak up the atmosphere.

The doors open at 10pm and the evening's music will run through until 5am.

Tickets cost $20 and are available from Fanny's, The Castle, The Mercury, Sound World, Patsan's Dance Music Specialists and Pacific Dreams.

TE has two double passes to From Dance Till Dawn.

To enter, put your name, address and telephone number on an envelope and send it to PO Box 615, Newcastle, 2300.
