Bawdy Good Night Out and Hearty Fare

What: Dirty Dicks
Where: South Newcastle Leagues Club
When: Saturday July 21, 2001

NOW in its 30th year, Australian theatre restaurant group Dirty Dicks is heading out on the road to celebrate.

The team of comedians and performers will travel to Newcastle next month to host a new series of shows called King Arthur and Lusty Nights at the Round Table. The group is famous for hosting distinctive nights of medieval fun and feasting and will bring its show to South Newcastle Leagues Club. Dirty Dicks was named Entertainment Restaurant of the Year in 1997 and guarantee a fun-filled evening for everyone.

Guests become a part of the madcap days of merry old England with the help of the Court Jester, Robin Hood and King Henry VIII.

Master Dirty Dick provides guests with a bib which bears their fictitious name for the night.

Past names have included Master Dangle, Charlotte the Harlot and Baron Nutz.

Entertainment begins with a comical stage show, which includes comedy routines, games, songs and singalongs.

This segment also features Dirty Dick's famous 'Naughty but Nice' bawdy ditties.

A wondrous feast is one of the show's main attractions and is served up like an old-time banquet meal.

The banquet consists of entree, a hearty main meal and a traditional dessert.

In the past 30 years Dirty Dicks have performed for more than 500,000 people, served more than 1.4million kilograms of prime roast beef and 5.8million litres of ale.

Dirty Dicks will be at South Newcastle Leagues Club on July 21 and August 4, 11 and 18.

For bookings call the club on 4963 1120.
